“Two
roads diverged in a wood, and I took the one less traveled by And that had made all the difference”
It was always pre-destined, I suppose, that
my path through education, and probably life, should be far from simple. I landed
this planet on 15 May,1976 at Dera Baba Jaimal Singh,Beas. This
place is "The Haeven on Earth".The place is in the Amritsar District of Punjab state which is one of the richest state of
the country (india). I found myself growing up in a GREAT
country that is very dear to me and offered me much.
I
attended Govt High School, Beas - a School that promotes creativity even though its medium of tuition is Punjabi . I
was elected Senior Head Boy. As a Head Boy, I was the leader of a group of senior pupils selected on leadership qualities,
academic merit and outstanding achievement throughout one's school career. This opportunity offered me the unique opportunity
to strive towards optimal self-actualization as I was placed in a position of authority and decision-making, and had to serve
as an example and role model to the rest of the school's students.
Then finished my 10+2 from D. A. V. College
Jalandhar. Truly, this college gave me first experience of enjoying a hostel
life. After that I never saw back. Staying in Hostel, I finished Bachelor of engineering (Mechanical engineering)
from Guru Nanak Dev Engineering College
(GNDEC) Ludhiana; which is the oldest & one of the
most prestigious Engineering College in Punjab as well as Northern iNDIA. I have thoroughly enjoyed
my education and social life making the very most of my undergraduate experience. In this college I was student secretary
of recreation club and President of hostel mess committee. It was really a wonderfull
experience. With some industry experience I joined
Indian instiute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur for MS in Cryogenics Engineering. Also i am working here as Junior Project Assistant
under a project entitled "Development of thermal mass flowmeters
for low and high gas flow rates", sponsored by ISRO, Bangalore. Here I take the opportunity to express my deep sense of gratitude
to my project investigator Dr Sunil Sarangi (Professor,Cryogenics Engg.Centre,IIT kharagpur).
(I HAVE SUBMITTED
THESIS OF MS WORK IN LAST WEEK OF JANUARY 2005 AND IN A PROCESS OF WRITING A COUPLE OF INDIAN PATENTS APPLICATIONS AND RESEARCH
PAPERS)
The rewards to all my achievements goes

There are three values that my family have entrusted upon me and that are of greatest importance to me - integrity,
a thirst for knowledge, and a motivation to help my fellow man. I perceive knowledge not as an end, but as a means to
an end - helping people. I love working with and helping people.
It is my desire to
become an academician and a motivator. I realize that the road I have chosen is difficult and requires sacrifice and time
but it is a road I wholeheartedly embrace.
“Two roads did diverge in the wood, and
having chosen the one less traveled by, I feel as though I have made the most of my choice.”
